Media Meet is a weekly public affairs program which delves into the issues that are important to the people of the Upper Great Lakes Region. During the half-hour program, local media representatives, community leaders and special guests of regional, national, and international prominence, engage in intelligent discussion and candid debate regarding topics of local interest.
Media Meet, with its unbiased, quality public affairs reporting, has been a cornerstone of Public TV 13’s local production schedule for more than 20 years. Past guests of Media Meet have included astronaut Jerry Linenger, civil rights leader Roger Wilkins and five Michigan Supreme Court Justices.
Media Meet is produced and hosted by Sonya Chrisman.

“Funding Transportation”
With fuel prices already high, raising the gas tax is not a popular option to fix the roads.
