As the leaves turn and the nights grow longer, WNMU-TV is here to keep the chills coming with a spine-tingling lineup of Halloween-themed programming all month long. Whether you love classic thrillers or family-friendly fun, we've got something for everyone.

This October, tune in to WNMU-TV for a variety of spooky specials, from Alfred Hitchcock’s Murder! to a hauntingly delightful Halloween edition of The Lawrence Welk Show. And for our younger viewers, don't miss special Halloween episodes from favorites like Wild Kratts and Arthur, airing throughout the month.

If late-night scares are more your style, check out 13.3PLUS (Spectrum #195 or #197 in Sault Ste. Marie) every night at 11/10c, starting Saturday, October 19. Live, televised 1940's style radio drama it's radio you can see, complete with actors, music and a crew of sound effects technicians, creating it all right before your eyes.

Sunday, 10/27: Dracula
Description: KTWU-TV presents "Dracula." It's radio you can see, complete with actors, music and a crew of sound effects The radio drama presents an audio-adaptation of the classic horror tale by Philip Grecian. A set that mimics a 1940's radio stage, complete with sound effects equipment, has been assembled in the KTWU-TV studios on the Washburn University campus.

Monday, 10/28: Frankenstein
Description: Victor Frankenstein set out to create life – using corpses stolen from graveyards. During a raging storm, he is successful but, too late, realizes he has created a misshapen, inarticulate horror. And so begins a haunting tale of creature vs. creator, in KTWU’s local production - 1940’s radio-style drama from A.R.T.S., Inc.

Tuesday, 10/29: Good Little Girl, Goodnight
Description: Gathin and Joanna Teller have moved into an old fixer-upper just outside the small town of Thanatos, when a mysterious 10-year-old girl from down the road comes to visit. She explains that the previous owners had read stories to her from a particular book, and she would like more stories. In the spirit of new friendships, the Tellers oblige while, in town, dark secrets are being revealed.

Wednesday, 10/30: The Invisible Man
Description: Set in the village of Iping, in a blinding snowstorm, a stranger arrives at the Coach & Horse Inn demanding a room. His head is bandaged and his eyes concealed behind blue goggles. His possessions arrive the following day-- scores of strange glass bottles and boxes of books. When the landlady begins to make inquiries, the stranger loses his temper, strips off his wrappings and is--invisible.

Thursday, 10/31: Trilogy of Terror
Description: Performed in the style of an old time radio drama, Trilogy of Terror features original plays based on three classic horror tales. "The Fall of the House of Usher" by Edgar Allan Poe, "The Cats of Ulthar" by H.P. Lovecraft and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washington Irving. Performed in front of a live, studio audience with actors playing multiple roles and live sound effects.
