WNMU-TV's Public Eye News will present a news industry job forum featuring WLUC's Tia Trudgeon this Friday, April 1 at 5 pm ET.
TV6 Morning News Reporter and Anchor Tia Trudgeon will discuss her positive professional experiences with up-and-coming multimedia journalism majors and other interested NMU students. Tia is a 2020 Michigan State University grad with a degree in English and Film Studies.
"Since graduating and joining TV6, Tia has gotten to know the television news business inside and out, so we really appreciate her willingness to share those professional insights with her contemporaries here at NMU," said Public Eye News Advisor Mike Settles.
The News Industry Job Forum was proposed and is organized by members of WNMU-TV’s Public Eye News (PEN), who want to share real-life work experience in a news broadcast setting.
