High School Bowl's 43rd season tournament has been full of twists, turns, and excitement, all leading up to the final game of the 2021-22 season. The Calumet "Copper Kings" will play the Sault Ste. Marie "Blue Devils" this Saturday, April 16 at 8/7c on WNMU-TV PBS.
Starting in October, 37 teams from across Upper Michigan and Northern Wisconsin have competed in High School Bowl's single-elimination tournament this season. Sault Ste. Marie has played in 4 games so far this year, defeating Ishpeming, Cedarville, Superior Central and Munising. The Calumet team has also played in 4 games, defeating Dollar Bay, Hurley, West Iron County, and Kingsford.
Calumet was our previous tournament champions, and they are looking to reclaim their victory status. Will they succeed, or does Sault Ste. Marie have what it takes to win the battle of wits? You have to tune in to find out!
There are a number of ways to watch High School Bowl. Aside from being broadcast on channel 13.1, it is also available throughout the state of Michigan on the Michigan Learning Channel (13.4) on Monday at 1/12c and 8/7c.
