The Great Grand Giveaway offers one winner a special getaway experience at the iconic Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, one of Michigan’s most well-known destinations. This exclusive prize package offers a unique opportunity to experience one of Michigan’s most beloved destinations.
This giveaway is part of WNMU-TV’s mission to support public broadcasting and serve communities across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
How to Enter
You MUST officially enter in order to win. Your donation to this station is not an official entry, and you do not need to donate to enter the drawing. Be sure to complete and submit your form before Friday, June 5, 2026. Review the offical contest rules if you are unsure if you qualify. Follow these steps to enter the giveaway:

Prize Details
The winner will receive a Bed & Breakfast getaway experience at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, valued at over $2,500. This prize offers a chance to relax, explore, and enjoy the beauty of one of Michigan’s most historic and scenic destinations. Includes:
- One Grand room for 2 persons, for 2 nights, between August 09, 2026—October 25, 2026; or May 07, 2027—June 30 2027, subject to availability, with a Sunday-Thursday arrival/departure pattern
- Breakfast daily for 2 persons
- All tax, tipping and baggage handling charges as they pertain to rooms and meals noted above
Official Rules and Information
This package is non-transferable and non-refundable. It does not include transportation to and from Mackinac Island or incidental charges such as cocktail, dinner, lunch, phone calls, gift shop purchases, recreation charges, etc.
WNMU-TV PBS assumes no liability for personal injuries to the participants of the Mackinac Island trip while in transit or during their stay. Any taxes on the prize are to be paid by the winner of the contest. Please review all rules, eligibility requirements, and deadlines included in the official rules (PDF) before submitting your entry.
WNMU-TV PBS will comply with all FCC rules on contests which presently are in effect, in particular Section 73.1216, "A licensee that broadcasts or advertises information about a contest it conducts shall fully and accurately disclose the material terms of the contest, and shall conduct the contest substantially as announced or advertised. No contest description shall be false, misleading or deceptive with respect to any material terms." Material terms are those factors which define the operation of the contest and which affect participation therein.
