Celebrate Summer with New and Noteworthy Programs on WNMU-TV PBS
This July, WNMU-TV brings you a wide range of inspiring and thought-provoking programs that celebrate the American spirit, explore unique cultural stories, and keep you connected to the Upper Peninsula. We kick off the month with Iconic America: The Statue of Liberty on July 1, and continue the tradition of patriotic celebration with the beloved Capitol Fourth concert special, airing live on July 4 at 8/7c.
Throughout the month, discover compelling stories of everyday Americans, from volunteer firefighters in Odd Hours, No Pay, Cool Hat to a modern-day vaquero in La Recua: The Mule Pack Train. We also shine a spotlight on Native voices and history in Ocklawaha: The Stories My Father Told and Oyate Woyaka, which celebrates Lakota language and culture.
As always, WNMU-TV PBS keeps viewers informed with fresh episodes of Media Meet and What’s U.P., covering local news, issues, and community stories that matter most in the Upper Peninsula.
Don’t miss these new and noteworthy PBS programs airing all month long. And remember—you can watch from anywhere by streaming live from our website, pbs.org, or on the PBS app. Stay connected all summer long, wherever you are.
